The Learning Disabilities Association of
Wisconsin is dedicated to providing support to children and adults with learning disabilities through advocacy,
education, information and research. Enhancing the quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities
and their families is our main goal. LDA monitors and provides information to our members regarding Special
Education Legislation at both the federal and state levels. We promote awareness, communication and understanding
between parents, adults with LD, educators and the community.
LDA-Wisconsin is affiliated with the national nonprofit organization
the Learning Disabilities Association of America.
We host an annual state conference and our members receive our quarterly newsletter; Connections,
along with the national publication; Newsbriefs which is published six times a year.
We need you to become a member to help us pave the way for those impacted with learning disabilities. As we continue
our work, please consider volunteering for a valuable organization whose goal is to improve the lives of all
individuals challenged with learning disabilities.
